Wine and Dine

If you're searching for a fun way to test out some local fare, look no further than the Charleston Wine + Food Festival.

Not only is this a great opportunity to share tasty bites with some of the industry's best, but you'll also be donating to some amazing charities. The festival's signature charities for 2010 are Louie's Kids whose mission is to fight childhood obesity and Slow Food Charleston Slow Food Charleston whose mission is to "reconnect Americans with the people, traditions, plants, animals, fertile soils, and waters that produce our food."

The Charleston Wine + Food Festival runs from March 4-7. There are many opportunities to learn from some of the country's best authors, chefs and wine professionals... not to mention, it's the perfect venue to test out Charleston caterers for your wedding! The festival will feature low country cooking and some amazing celebrity chefs, including Tyler Florence! The festivities begin this Friday and tickets may be purchased from the Charleston Wine + Food Web site. Happy Tasting!
