Engagement: Katie & Keegan

We love this engagement story and can't wait for this couple's big day in April. Read all about this theatrical engagement below...

Katie & Keegan met in 2004 in a studio class at UNCG. Both Media Studies majors, graduated together in 2005. Keegan began working in Charleston for Army Wives in 2007 while Katie stayed in North Carolina. Katie took the plunge and moved to Charleston in '08 where they shared their first apartment.

After 5 years of dating, Keegan popped the question on February 6, 2010 in typical showbiz fashion. With a massive under-cover production set up throughout the entire neighborhood, Keegan "proposed proposals" in multiple too-cheesy-for-Katie-ways.

Fake Proposal #1: Sitting at dinner with a table full of desserts and a fake ring in the champagne glass.
Fake Proposal #2: Walking outside by a sting quartet playing "The Glory of Love" from the Kartate Kid II soundtrack.
Fake Proposal #3: Hanging out in a local pub with a surprise appearance by a number of close friends and family.
Fake Proposal #4: A movie montage was set up in the local park (see video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DjEqSimLpAs)
REAL PROPOSAL: The couple was alone in the park under a street lamp where Keegan got on one knee... with the real ring!

How cool is that!? We applaud Keegan for his creativity. Get the full story here with even more detail.

Check back with us for their wedding blog in April. This country chic wedding is sure to be special.

Congrats, Katie & Keegan!
